The Barefoot Method® is a bodywork style created by Govinda Bader, Certified Rolfer. Govinda has been practicing Rolfing in San Francisco and Berkeley since 2003 and developed the Barefoot Method in 2007. The Barefoot Method is an innovative approach to bodywork that incorporates the principles of Rolfing into a dynamic floor-based technique.

The Barefoot Method uses slow, deep, sustained pressure to unlock the postural patterns that cause tension, pain and movement restriction. Govinda's innovative technique uses body weight and leverage to give clients the pressure they need while preserving the body mechanics of the practitioner. The result is a deeply satisfying bodywork session.

Govinda's San Francisco Rolfing office is located in Noe Valley and he also practices Rolfing in Berkeley. If you are experiencing any of the issues listed here, come try a session.
